The Camera support for SESTO SENSO 3 LS is an optional mounting accessory designed to enable correct installation of the SESTO SENSO 3 LS focusing motor when the telephoto lens is not equipped with an integrated L-shaped tripod collar.

The Lens Gear Clamp (LGC) system of SESTO SENSO 3 LS has been engineered assuming the presence of a lower support bracket typically found on long focal length telephoto lenses used in astrophotography. However, some photographic lenses may not include such a support. In these cases, the Camera support provides the necessary mechanical interface to securely connect a PLUS Vixen-style dovetail plate beneath the camera body, ensuring proper alignment and stable positioning of the motor.

Once installed under the camera, it allows seamless integration with the PLUS Vixen-style plate, creating a stable mounting base for the SESTO SENSO 3 LS via its Arca-Swiss clamp system. By providing a secure and adjustable support structure, the Camera support for SESTO SENSO 3 LS expands compatibility to a wider range of telephoto lenses, making it possible to motorize lenses that would otherwise lack the mechanical interface required for proper installation.
